final frontier indeeddefinitely an enjoyable star trek film, if not overly ambitious. shatner tries his hand at directing this one, and he does alright in my opinion. the crew is on leave until a vulcan kidnaps some high up chancellors. the enterprise eventually gets hijacked in an attempt to find God. their voyage isn't too difficult, but is it really god that they are faced with? plenty of silly action, but i enjoyed it enough.
